This year's update to the Equalizer features the P2 Superlight Core, which is light, gives more pop and has a higher resistance. The Quantum Drive Base allows for a good glide, so there is no more need for stepping. The Technora Flax Boosters guarantee a smooth ride without chatter at speed.

Features: 

• Alpine V1 Profile - The Alpine V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider’s performance in deep snow.
• Flat Kick Tech - With capita’s flat kick design technology, we’ve tightened the tip profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height on reverse camber boards. The tight tip radius in conjunction with tuned blend zones allows you to have a forgiving and easy to ride reverse camber board that is still responsive and quick during edge-to-edge transitions. This also creates a flat tip and tail which increases jibbing stability and also helps the board plane on top of powder creating float and control.
• Blended Radial Sidecut - Blended radial sidecuts feature a single radius arc through the midsection of the board combined with a custom designed blend zone at the contact points. Varying the length of these blend zones and tailoring them specifically for certain aspects of riding greatly improves a board’s performance.
• P2 Superlight Core - The P2 Superlight Core is one of the lightest cores that can withstand high impacts and has maximum pop. The pop ensures enough air time in the park and fast manoeuvrability. The core also adds stability, allowing it to perform well in different types of snow. The core is made up of a mix of poplar and Paulownia. Made for diversity on the entire mountain.
• Technora + Flax Boosters - With an excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, Technora is an aramid fiber that functions as a shock absorber and energy source when integrated into a snowboard construction layup. We have interwoven Technora with an extremely lightweight and all natural Flax fiber to invigorate every construction combination with maximum turning and ollie power.
• Holysheet Fiberglass - The all new holysheet fiberglass configuration features new fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Triaxial fiberglass is placed on top of the core and biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with the magic bean resin and one of the many additives we have available, and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.
• Quantum Drive Base - The Quantum Drive running base is formulated with a new blend of compressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. As an evolution from the already blazing fast Ultradrive from 2018, this new running base for 2021 and beyond features higher density for durability and absorbs more wax to wick longer and ride faster. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are the preferred choice of many high-end enthusiasts worldwide.
